Job summary

JLL in Rockford, IL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians and adhering to safety procedures to ensure reliable uptime and safe operations for all building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on MHE and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain inventory records for department.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
