Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the Rockford, IL site. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2+ years of MHE repair experience and a background in predictive and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years' experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain department inventory and move up to 49lbs.
