Job summary

JLL in the United States is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians, while following safety procedures and documenting preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
