Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services unit is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Alabama. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and you will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and mentoring junior technicians while collaborating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 1+ years reading blueprint/electrical schematics.
• 1+ years electrical/electronic principles knowledge.
• Experience with a CMMS.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project; strong documentation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation and troubleshoot MHE electrical/mechanical issues.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive relationships across Operations facilities.
