Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, complete preventative maintenance, and document tasks while mentoring junior technicians. A safety-first culture is emphasized throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 1+ year reading electrical schematics.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; track inventory.
• Support: Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
