Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

You will promote safety, complete preventive maintenance with thorough documentation, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.
