Job summary

Aerotek in Vandalia, OH is hiring Maintenance Mechanics on all shifts. You will install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment including conveyors, perform preventive maintenance, and manage work orders in a CMMS.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance of MHE, reading blueprints, electrical knowledge, and a safety-first mindset. This contract-to-hire position offers onsite work with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or conveyors.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.
• 2+ years following safety standards.
• 1+ year troubleshooting MHE systems.
• 1+ year using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Perform battery changes and maintenance on batteries.
• Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventive maintenance sheets.
• Manage work orders using a CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
• Track and manage inventory including spare parts.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge to work with components and systems.
