Job summary

JLL in Miami, FL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with mentoring opportunities for junior technicians.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
Track and store department inventory.
Move up to 49lbs; stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
Possible travel up to 20%.
