Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician for our Miami, FL site. You will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and you may install and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Mentoring junior technicians is possible. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating with facility teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ years of blueprint reading and electrical schematic reading.
• CMMS experience.
• Experience with material handling equipment safety standards.
• Robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
