The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (Maintenance Technician II) supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, material handling systems, and pneumatic systems throughout a large warehouse facility. This role focuses on ensuring high-speed, highly automated conveyor and robotic systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably through quality predictive and preventative maintenance.
You will join a high-performance maintenance organization in a large, technology-driven distribution network, with formal training on high-speed automation and robotic equipment to help you develop advanced technical skills. This role is based in a large, highly automated warehouse and distribution facility with extensive conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and robotic components. You will work around high-speed automation and advanced robotic technology in a fast-paced environment where performance is measured using data and system metrics to ensure expectations are met without micromanagement. The position requires comfort with physical activity, including walking approximately 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 pounds at a time. Shifts are 10 hours in length, and candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, including options such as 6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on various weekday and weekend schedules. The facility emphasizes safety, adherence to OEM standards, and teamwork within the maintenance and operations groups.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DuPont, WA.
The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
