Aerotek is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated material handling systems in a large Chester, Virginia distribution facility. The role emphasizes predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventive maintenance.

Job Description

The Mechatronics & Robotics Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs automated material handling systems, including conveyors and robotics, within a large, high-speed distribution facility. This role focuses on predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large, highly automated facility of approximately 70,000 square feet, featuring about 14 miles of conveyors and a rapidly expanding fleet of robots, growing from around 30 units to hundreds. The environment centers on high-speed material handling, automation, and robotic systems, supported by pneumatic equipment and advanced control systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67600.00 - $88712.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
