Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice to learn installing, troubleshooting and maintaining electronic, mechanical, and control systems in a distribution center. The program includes classroom, lab, and on-the-job learning with safety policies and eventual promotion to MRT after completion.

Participants must attend a 9-week college-based training at selected campuses; travel and housing support provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to enroll in and attend a 9-week training at one of four colleges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Follow work processes at school and on the shop floor to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintenance: Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance on MHE and components.
• Monitoring: Analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems and components.
• Support: Learn PLCs and work with Automation Engineers in a lab environment.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively within a team in school and OJL.
