Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is offering a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice program designed to teach installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of complex mechatronic systems within a distribution center.

The nine-week training occurs at partner colleges nationwide, with travel and housing provided. After completing the program, you advance to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) with ongoing development and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to enroll in a 9-week training at partner colleges across the country.
• To complete one year of On-the-Job Learning at the home site after training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety processes on training and shop floor while shadowing a technical advisor.
• Perform scheduled, preventive maintenance and assist in repairs of MHE equipment.
• Analyze technical specs of mechatronic systems and subsystems.
• Learn PLCs and work with Automation Engineers in a laboratory environment.
• Communicate effectively within a team during school and on-the-job learning.
