Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice to join our Maintenance/Controls track.

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program provides extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field, with 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning to prepare you for a path with our world-class client operations. Participants gain hands-on experience, pursue growth opportunities after six months of service, and join a safety-first team supporting asset handling

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Attend a 12-week in-person paid training at a designated training provider.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Ability to solve problems and follow general instructions in standard situations.
• Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform climbing/stooping as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by following all procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventive maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
