Job summary

Amazon.com is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice to learn electronics, mechanics, computer and automation engineering on high‑performance manufacturing systems. You will work with journey workers and be mentored by senior technicians to grow in your role.

You will assist in installation, maintenance and repair to maintain process efficiency and equipment availability, while following safety regulations and company policies across automated packaging and distribution facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of PC software experience (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Technical training or associate degree or Amazon RME experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachs, etc.
• Move up to 49lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours with safe climbing and bending.
