Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice in Greenwood, IN to learn and apply electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation skills on high-performance manufacturing systems.

You will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, work with journey workers, and receive mentorship from senior technicians while developing safe work practices and effective collaboration with upstream and downstream teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, or Amazon RME experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and motor starters.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand for long shifts, climb ladders, and perform bending and reaching tasks
