Job summary

CoStar Group in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for an eight-week internship focused on hardware development, automation, and data analysis. You will own a hardware project end to end—from concept through build and validation—and present results to the team at the end.

You will design and assemble electromechanical hardware, extract performance data, and apply mechanical and software/electrical skills to real manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3.0+ GPA.
• Has at least 2 months of relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Strong CAD skills and data analysis aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Own one hardware project end to end, from concept through build and validation.
• Design and assemble electromechanical hardware across sub-systems.
• Extract performance data and analyze results to drive decisions.
