Qualifications

• Strong design background with solid engineering skills.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools such as CREO, NX.
• Analytical skills with FEM/FEA experience (Creo Simulation, COMSOL).
• Ability to design test stands, instrument, and acquire data.
• Hands-on testing and rapid prototyping experience.
• Familiar with machining, sheetmetal fabrication, and manufacturing.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping.
• Team player under aggressive deadlines; strong communication and PM.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design, analysis, and evaluation of robotics and mechatronics products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specs and verify performance.
• Utilize rapid prototyping to iterate designs quickly.
• Spend significant time hands-on in the lab with products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Contribute to invention disclosures and design reviews.
• Develop test criteria and equipment for automated product testing.
• Perform failure analysis and drive continual improvement using 8D.
• Manage multiple priorities and respond to customer requests.
