Job summary

LAM RESEARCH Corporation is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Global Products Group. In this role, you will design and define advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, supporting the full lifecycle from concept to productization.

The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred.

This position will be based in Fremont, California.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience managing time and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization.
• Design components using metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and coatings.
• Create engineering requirements from marketing requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare reports.

3D NX Tool proficiency

Feasibility studies and test plans development

Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Master’s degree in a related field
