Job summary

Harrison Clarke is seeking an engineer to join a lean robotics team focused on building, integrating and refining an autonomous platform for warehouse automation. You will work closely with the founding team to tackle complex hardware challenges, from mechanical design to system integration, testing, and deployment in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building or developing physical robots from concept to shipped product.
• Strong mechanical/mechatronics fundamentals for hardware and electromechanical systems.
• Experience using CAD tools to modify and improve designs.
• Hands-on prototyping with 3D printing, machining, fabrication and iterative hardware development.
• Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical and software components into a working robotic system.
• Collaborate with software engineers to support hardware/software integration and debugging.
• US Citizenship or Greencard holder; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate robots by assembling components into a cohesive platform.
• Refine mechanical designs to improve fit, function and durability.
• Prototype and iterate with 3D printing, machining and physical testing.
• Improve electrical systems, wiring and reliability.
• Stabilise the current platform and resolve hardware issues.
• Develop future robot iterations informed by testing and deployments.
• Address end effectors and integration challenges to boost performance.
• Bridge hardware and software with robotics software engineers for integration.
