Job summary

Sapsf in the United States is seeking a versatile Mechatronics Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. You will drive the development of complex robotic and automated systems from concept through bring-up, applying mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines.

You will own projects, create 3D CAD models, generate drawings and BOMs, and collaborate across teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy complex prototype hardware.
• Ability to switch between mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

2. Apply varying levels of engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, software) to assess the current state of robots and make recommendations to improve efficiency or solve technical problems
3. Independently assess projects, vet complexities, and understand goals to determine the most effective project plan.
4. Cover all aspects of a project's requirements from conceptual design,
analysis, 3D CAD, drafting, BOM generation, fabrication, assembly,
testing through to report documentation

Proven experience in project planning and managing technical tasks autonomously.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.

Experience with robotics or complex automated systems is highly desirable.
