Job summary

Röchling Group is seeking a experienced Mechatronics/Controls Technician to read, create, and modify electrical and fluid power schematics per IEC/NFPA standards. You will program, test, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, and train technicians across multiple facilities.

You must travel to multiple locations and work remotely as needed, ensuring safety and equipment reliability. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, controls, and trouble-shooting is essential.

Qualifications

• Read, create, and modify electrical schematics per IEC/NFPA.
• Develop fluid power and P&ID schematics to standards.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages and PLC/HMI/SCADA tools.
• Experience installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC/HMI/VFD systems.
• Ability to train technicians and apprentices in instrumentation and control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Read, create, and modify electrical schematics per IEC and NFPA standards.
• Read, create, and modify fluid power schematics and P&ID diagrams.
• Develop and modify programming code across multiple languages.
• Develop, test, and maintain HMI and SCADA programs.
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and VFD equipment.
• Travel to multiple locations and work remotely as needed.
• Train technicians and apprentices in process instrumentation and control practices.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance in all tasks.
