Job summary

Röchling Industrial is seeking a highly skilled mechatronics/controls professional with extensive experience in electrical and hydraulics/pneumatics schematics. You will read, create, and modify complex diagrams to IEC/NFPA standards, develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs, and retrofit obsolete controls.

Travel to client sites and remote work as needed are expected, with emphasis on safety and mentoring technicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics or CS with programming emphasis or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years direct experience in industrial automation.
• Programming certification preferred (Siemens or Allen-Bradley).
• State electrical trades license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, create, and modify electrical schematics per IEC/NFPA standards.
• Read, create, and modify fluid power and P&ID schematics per IEC/NFPA.
• Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming languages.
• Install, commission, repair, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Train technicians and apprentices in instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting.
• Travel to multiple locations with necessary tools and work remotely when needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage across tasks.
