Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support a major client in distribution and fulfillment operations. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on repair of electrical and mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance.

You will participate in a 12-week in-person paid training, gain skills in equipment installation and repair, and join a team that values diversity and career growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to solve problems and follow standard procedures in routine maintenance tasks.
• Proficient use of hand tools for maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Build positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
