Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice to join the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions maintenance team. The role offers paid training and hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for material handling equipment.

You will participate in a 12-week in-person paid training, learn to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution systems, and develop skills for a future path as a Maintenance Technician or Controls Technician.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
