Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions.

The program blends 9 weeks of classroom instruction with on‑the‑job training to prepare you for maintenance or controls technician roles on a major client site. You’ll diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, install and repair automated systems, perform preventative maintenance, track inventory, and work closely with client and operations teams while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
