Amazon Robotics is seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineers focused on actuation solutions and robotic hardware development.

You will own the full lifecycle from concept to production readiness, partnering with controls, electrical, and software teams to deliver scalable hardware across Amazon's robotics platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical design with 3+ years in management.
• Experience in rotary actuation and related components (BLDC motors, gears, bearings).
• Knowledge of CAD/FEA and design for manufacturability.
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced, cross‑functional hardware programs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and retain top mechanical/mechatronics talent; raise engineering rigor.
• Mentor a team of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineers across cradle‑to‑grave ownership.
• Develop and report performance metrics to peers and executives.
• Collaborate across controls, electrical, software, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Own mechanical/mechatronic product delivery to market on time and within budget.
