Job summary

GLOCK, Inc. in Smyrna, GA, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment across production, testing, and quality departments.

You will troubleshoot machine and network issues, update programs, back up data, and support Kaizen/5S initiatives. Strong electrical, PLC, and robotics knowledge required; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of related experience.
Experience in DC/AC repair and troubleshooting; reading electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic prints.
Strong IT/network understanding and computer hardware skills.
Experience with Siemens PLC, HMI, and industrial communications.
Fanuc robot maintenance training or extensive history.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with metrics and 50 lb lifts; OSHA safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated devices in the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality departments.
Troubleshoot production IT related machine and network issues; follow guidance from lead mechatronic technician.
Update programs and software according to MRT Austria instructions.
Document maintenance activities and report progress on projects.
Support LEAN activities, 5S and Kaizen for process improvement.
Ensure network connectivity of automated devices and machinery.
Work with minimal supervision and adhere to PM schedules.
