Job summary

Rinvio in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Full-Time Controls Technician to install, commission, maintain and repair industrial printing equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot PLC/servo systems, interpret schematics, and use TCP/IP networking, while delivering strong customer service and remote technical support between visits.

Widespread travel is expected, typically one to two weeks per assignment. Document service activities in JIRA and coordinate with the global service organization.

Qualifications

• Preferred background: electrical or mechatronic engineering education, or equivalent relevant experience and training.
• Hands-on industrial equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with high-voltage power systems and control-voltage circuits is relevant.

Job description

This is a Full-Time, W-2 Controls position with Rinvio in Cincinnati, OH, paying $90,000–$110,000 / yr.

Full-time, W-2 employment with Rinvio, working on site with our client.

Annual pay: $90,000–$110,000.

Install, commission, maintain and repair industrial printing equipment at customer sites. This role combines electrical, mechanical and controls troubleshooting with customer service and remote technical support between visits. Candidates may live anywhere in the US; proximity to Ohio is preferred. Extensive travel is expected, typically one week and up to two weeks at a time.

Use schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings to diagnose faults. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled and servo-controlled machinery, make basic logic adjustments, and work with TCP/IP and industrial communication networks. Resolve installation questions, replacement-part issues and printing performance problems involving quality, tolerances and specifications.

Document service activity and customer issues in JIRA, complete equipment-finalization records, and coordinate with the global service organization. Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, organize your work independently, and contribute to a team under pressure.
