Job summary

Rinvio in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time Controls engineer to develop PLC, servo-motion, and touchscreen programs for industrial printing equipment. You will design panel layouts, wiring schematics, and bills of materials using CAD, assist assembly with startup and debugging, and support service colleagues with installation and field work.

The role requires living near Cincinnati with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to document issues in JIRA.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent; ~2 years relevant experience.
• Electrical or mechatronic engineering education.
• PLC programming in ladder logic and structured text.
• CAD controls design and wiring diagrams; servo-controlled machinery.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and presentation skills.
• Willingness to complete drug screen and background check.
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC, servo-motion, and touchscreen programs for equipment.
• Design panel layouts, wiring schematics, and BOMs using CAD.
• Assist assembly with startup and debugging; support field installation.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues; document in JIRA.
• Provide remote support and customer service for industrial printers.
