The City of Waukesha is looking for a skilled Mechanic to assist in the maintenance and repair of city vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive mechanic duties, be able to operate a range of tools, and possess a valid CDL.
Applicants must have a high school diploma along with specialized automotive training. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $22.35 and $26.84 based on experience.
This position assists in the maintenance and repair of all City vehicles and equipment.

Graduation from high school and at least 1 year of specialized training in automobile and equipment mechanics, plus at least 1-3 years of automotive mechanic experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability and skills:
CDL with A, B, C and N (tanker) endorsements; valid Wisconsin driver license, ability to complete a pre-employment post offer physical and drug screen upon hire - including random drug and alcohol tests thereafter; must provide your own hand tools.
