RTX is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop and validate test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro‑optical environments. You will generate 3D models and detailed drawings, ensuring conformance with drafting standards and robust documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to diagnose issues and implement design improvements while supporting security clearance requirements and DoD program needs.

Competenze

BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (ABET preferred).
Experience using CAD to create 3D models and assemblies.
Experience maintaining mechanical drawings to industry standards (ASME Y14 or ISO).

Mansioni

Research, plan, and design custom mechanical test solutions for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF and electro‑optical environments.
Conceptualize and implement mechanical systems integrated with state‑of‑the‑art test technologies.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings in CAD and ensure accurate documentation.
Ensure data packages meet drafting standards (ASME Y14 / ISO).
