Job summary

MOVA Metals is seeking reliable Mechanical Technicians to support the safe and efficient operation of our chemical recycling plant. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections of mechanical equipment and systems across the facility.

The role involves working around process equipment, potential shift work, outdoors, and responding to maintenance needs during evenings or scheduled shutdowns. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and use E-Verify for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or mechanical maintenance certification beneficial.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, conveyors, piping, and gearboxes.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, and damage.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning.
• Perform basic fabrication, welding, cutting, and fitting as needed.
• Follow maintenance procedures, work orders, and manuals.
• Support plant shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety, environmental and operating procedures.
