Job summary

Maintenance Operations Tech I at Messer Americas will uphold safe and efficient operation of a chemical processing facility. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical equipment, and support process reliability with a strong emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities include using CMMS SAP, following LOTO and MOC procedures, and collaborating with the team to schedule and prioritize work while maintaining inventory and calibration checks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate in a technical discipline or military training is a plus.
• 3 years of relevant experience in process plant operations, maintenance or reliability.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the chemical process facility.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with instrument and electrical tasks as needed.
• Follow strict safety policies, LOTO, HWP, and MOC procedures.
• Utilize CMMS (SAP) to track work and maintenance activities.
• Support plant inventory management and equipment calibration checks.
