Job summary

Becton Dickinson is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment. You will perform setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple lines, ensuring quality and uptime in support of production goals.

Responsibilities include adjusting machine settings, performing changeovers, and documenting activities while following GMP and safety policies. Occasional overtime and collaboration with contractors are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related technical experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics and manuals.
• Experience with maintenance of automated production equipment is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP and safety policies is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Set and adjust machine settings for AutoPak equipment and manage changeovers.
• Document quality, safety, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Investigate root causes of process or product issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors as needed.
