Job Title: Mechanical Test Technician

Keystone Compliance, a regulatory compliance test lab located in New Castle, PA, is seeking a Mechanical Test Technician. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent character, and a dedication to high-quality work. Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage time effectively are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Environmental and Mechanical Testing: Perform testing of components and assemblies to assess performance under various conditions such as vibration, thermal cycling, humidity, altitude, corrosion, ingress protection, etc.
2. Set Up and Operate Test Equipment: Prepare and operate equipment like electrodynamic shakers, thermal and humidity chambers, and environmental test chambers.
3. Fabricate and Maintain Test Fixtures: Assist in designing, fabricating, and maintaining test fixtures to ensure accurate testing.
4. Collect and Analyze Data: Record data meticulously, perform preliminary analysis, and report findings.
5. Troubleshoot Test Setups: Identify and resolve issues with test equipment, fixtures, or specimens.
6. Maintain Test Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and calibration.
7. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
8. Support Documentation: Assist in preparing test reports and data logs.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of three years relevant experience.
2. Experience with machining, welding, fabrication, HVAC, electricity, and electronics is a plus.
3. Proficient with MS Office.
4. Comfortable working with tools and computers.
5. Ability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs.
6. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during testing.
7. Authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with ITAR regulations.
