Job Summary

Clark Testing is seeking a Test Technician for our Jefferson Hills-based mechanical test laboratory. The Test Technician will be responsible for setting up and executing test programs, including shock, vibration, and environmental testing. The role requires hands-on skills and operation of test equipment using computer-aided programs. The technician must ensure proper completion and accurate results following strict quality standards. A training program will be provided during the introductory period.

Qualifications & Competency Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical experience required.
• 4 or more years of relevant mechanical experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience with low voltage circuitry and industrial machinery/instrumentation required.
• Proficient in MS Windows software.
• Crane, forklift, and rigging experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow verbal and written procedures for setup and quality assurance.
• Demonstrates a proactive attitude with skills in prioritization, problem-solving, and time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Safety, quality, and detail-oriented; maintains a clean work environment.
• Willing to wear PPE and company-issued uniform.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, or transporting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Available for daylight shifts and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Upon successful completion of the introductory review period, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, EAP, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and holidays.
