GE is seeking a Mechanical Assembler capable of building and driving mechanisms and breakers according to blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities include:

• Unpacking parts, inspecting for proper functioning, and ensuring completeness.
• Assembling breakers according to drawings and specifications or preparing them for shipment, including cleaning and preparing tanks and sub-assemblies.
• Discussing diagram or production errors with supervisors or engineers to resolve assembly issues.
• Performing assembly in compliance with Quality Control Procedures to meet QC and customer standards.
• Inspecting own work to ensure proper assembly, vacuuming, pre-filling, and readiness for testing and shipping.
• Documenting work performed using proper forms (labor, QCRs, etc.).
• Cleaning the work area at shift end.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
