Job summary

EquipSolutions, LLC in Chicago is seeking a Mechanical Systems Fabricator to assemble, fabricate, machi ne, and apply system designs. You will validate mechanical assembly function for flow and layout, and support QC through documentation reviews.

Responsibilities include producing subassemblies, meeting production timelines, interpreting technical docs, and using common tools on PVC/CPVC and stainless steel components. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical classes or courses preferred.
• Apprentice/Journeyman/Master Craftsman experience or certificate preferred.
• Experience with PVC/CPVC assembly and fabrication.
• Experience with stainless steel tubing assembly and fabrication.
• 3–5 years minimum using common mechanical tools (wrench, socket, saw, drills).

Responsibilities

• System assembly per technical drawings and documents.
• System fabrication to meet production schedules on the shop floor.
• Technical feedback on mechanical design to ensure functionality and quality.
• Basic machining including drilling, grinding, tapping, cutting, and altering.
• QA/QC/document support to maintain build accuracy and proper records.
