Job summary

International Thermal Systems LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Assembler B under the supervision of the Mechanical Assembler Supervisor. You will assemble complex industrial equipment according to company policies and procedures.

You will study assembly instructions and blueprints, gather parts and tools, assemble sub-assemblies, interface with engineers, and plan procedures. The role requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, STICK welding and cutting, with accuracy in reading prints and logging

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 3 years of related manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety manuals.
• Overtime may be required in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, STICK welding; plasma and torch cutting.
• Strong math, measurement, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare work.
• Assemble large and complex equipment from sub-assemblies.
• Interface with engineers and management during the build.
• Plan assembly procedures and ensure quality to ITS standards.
• Set up and operate sheet metal equipment and weld as required.
• Rig and position equipment using cranes and forklifts.
• Mark up prints and return to Supervisor.
