IPG is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to lead retrofit, rebuild, upgrade, and modification projects for customer equipment and internal systems. You will design mechanical modifications, create drawings and BOMs, and support installation, startup, and validation at customer sites.

The role requires hands-on engineering, field support, and strong knowledge of mechanical design and controls, with travel 50-70% to customer and manufacturing locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate installed equipment and develop retrofit solutions for upgrades and performance improvements.
• Provide technical support to field service and customers on mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
• Support manufacturing operations with equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
