Job summary

Securitech ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to drive product design, development, prototyping, packaging and sustaining activities that support cost-effective production and high-quality delivery.

Ideal candidates have mechanical engineering experience, proficiency with Solidworks, ERP systems, and PDM, and possess strong problem-solving and project-management skills to handle multiple tasks with deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve engineering challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design improvements that reduce cost and/or improve performance.
• Populate and release Engineering Change Notices.
• Prepare and populate product BOM in ERP system.
• Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
• Travel up to 15%.
