Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field teams, coordinate HVAC and plumbing scopes, and ensure on-time completion with top quality and safety standards. You will manage crews, liaise with customers and inspectors, and drive efficiency across multimillion-dollar projects.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in mechanical, HVAC or plumbing leadership, a journeyman or master license, and strong knowledge of IMC/IPC/IBC codes. Travel within Florida may be required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with refrigeration HVAC systems, VRF/VRV systems.
• Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements.
• Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
• Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred.
• Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred.
• Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values.
