Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Start-Up and Commissioning Leader to own the closeout phase of mechanical construction projects. You will plan, direct, and coordinate start-up, commissioning, and final turnover, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and top technical standards.

You will work hands-on with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and owners' commissioning agents, serving as a technical authority who drives accountability and momentum through the critical

Qualifications

Holds a college/university degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to independently make decisions concerning complexities and methods.
Experience coordinating start-up, commissioning and closeout of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Review project documents and plans for closeout readiness.
Lead and coordinate start-up, commissioning, and final turnover activities.
Supervise start-up foremen and superintendents and manage subcontractors.
Troubleshoot and investigate commissioning issues across mechanical systems.
Coordinate with owners' commissioning agents and vendors for start-up milestones.
Maintain schedule and manpower projections for start-up activities.
Document installation verification and pre-functional testing.
