Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum two years of experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of maintenance and reliability concepts (MOC, RCM, risk management).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations and Maintenance counterparts to solve day-to-day problems, ensuring safe and reliable unit operation.
• Participate in production team meetings to maintain awareness of key activities and unit status.
• Conduct routine field walkthroughs with operations, maintenance, and inspection to evaluate equipment concerns and provide recommendations.
• Support as a key contributor during stabilization and recovery from operational upsets.
• Identify and prioritize threats and opportunities related to mechanical equipment and drive solutions.
• Develop technical design bases, facilitate hazard screening, and verify change close-out activities (MOC).
• Manage asset care strategies for mechanical equipment using a standardized approach (RCM).
• Drive compliance for critical planned maintenance and seek optimization opportunities.
• Provide updates on project statuses and scope to asset managers and site leadership.
