Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support integrity, maintenance and reliability at a refinery site in Texas. The role involves developing scopes, performing analyses, and delivering client-ready reports under general supervision.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of refinery-related experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and knowledge of pressure vessels, tanks, and pipelines, AMSE codes, and API standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical integrity or related area.
• Experience with pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines.
• Familiarity with AMSE codes and API standards.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
• Working on scope specific to pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
• Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
• Other work duties as assigned.
