Job summary

Deer Park Refining Limited Partnership in Deer Park, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to own and contribute to production unit electrical programs at PEMEX Deer Park. This role interfaces with engineering, operations, maintenance and vendors to ensure 24x7 reliability and safe operation.

You will apply Reliability Centered Maintenance processes, lead MOC and ASM activities, and help develop long-term strategies for power distribution while maintaining ENMCS networks and supporting HSSE

Qualifications

3+ years of electrical experience in refinery or petrochemical environments.
Experience with protection relays, power management, and distribution networks.
Familiarity with NEC/NFPA standards and API RP-500.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-interface role.

Responsibilities

Technical guidance and Assurance for Management of Change (MOCs) and complex Abnormal Situation Management (ASMs).
Identifying long-term and reoccurring problems and providing feasible pathways for resolutions.
Identifying obsolescence issues and providing possible solutions to mitigate (short and long-term).
Developing a 10-year strategy to enhance reliability of power distribution project solutions.
Maintaining ENMCS communication architecture and network in partnership with I&PC.
Drive safety culture, particularly Electrical Safety, within PEMEX Deer Park.
Develop preventative maintenance requirements and plans for electrical systems via MEC/RCM.
Deliver quality assurance for electrical projects.
