Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to provide engineering support for the assigned production area and deliver year-on-year improvements to asset integrity and reliability. The role owner of static and rotating equipment within their units, working with operations, maintenance, and engineering peers to ensure safe, compliant and cost-efficient plant performance.

The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, drives maintenance planning, and contributes to reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with maintenance and reliability concepts, MOC, and RCM.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the assigned production area.
• Deliver year-on-year improvements to asset integrity and reliability.
• Own static and rotating equipment within their operating units.
• Support operations & maintenance to ensure safe, reliable unit operation.
• Lead or participate in maintenance planning, life-cycle cost analyses, and technical assurance.
