ARCO is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support testing, startup, setup, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems across design/build projects. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of relevant experience who wants to grow expertise in field execution, commissioning support, and system performance verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical systems operations, startup, or commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and controls.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and sequences of operation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction/commissioning software.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and controls.
• Assist with pre-startup readiness reviews to verify equipment installation and system readiness.
• Coordinate with BAS/controls teams to verify functionality and sequencing.
• Document deficiencies, testing observations, and corrective actions clearly.
• Support commissioning meetings, startup planning, and system turnover.
• Maintain organized project documentation for mechanical startup and issue logs.
