Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager for a mission-critical HVAC/MEP project in La Porte, IN. You will own the project lifecycle onsite from planning through closeout, ensuring reliability, uptime, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of PM experience in HVAC/MEP, with large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with mission-critical or large-scale projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Monitor and track schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet deadlines and financial targets.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations for best value.

What You'll Own

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout, with a focus on mission-critical standards, reliability, and uptime requirements.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution of work.
• Monitor and track project schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet project deadlines and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure scope alignment and best value.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with at least 2 years supporting mission-critical or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or equivalent).
